Biking for a Cause
A couple of gents biked through town this weekend on a campaign to raise awareness about global warming and climate change. They've been riding since April 21st and plan to head west (against the wind), 'til they've gotta turn around and come back. Details of their route can be found at their website, which gets updated pretty regularly. Check out Ride for Climate to follow them on their journey. While in Madison, they stopped to enjoy the Waterfront Festival around the same time we were playing. Our music ended up as the backdrop to they're video. Check it out here:
They've gone over 1,400 miles already!
Man, if they can do that, us Madisonians surely can ride or take the bus on a Clean Air Action Day:
"An Action Day means ozone or smog levels could get to unhealthy levels for the elderly, small children and those with respiratory conditions.
During such times, county officials are asking area residents to drive less, not to mow their lawns or fill up their gas tanks until after 6 p.m., and Madison Metro bus rides are free all day, WISC-TV reported."

Thanks for the great concert! (This is David of Ride for Climate - the one who made the video.) I will note on the blog that it is your music the background! Absolutely loved the concert, and was sad to leave Madison...
Pedal, pedal into the wind brother!
