EdPedal
Our bassist Ed showed up to rehearsal this week with a new toy - a pedal. Actually, to be more specific, it is some kind of insane pedal board. With it, Ed can do a number of things previously unavailable in the world of bass guitar.
Ed can now sound like anything from a bird to Gozilla. And, remember that bass sound on Pink Floyd's "One of These Days?" Yeah, he's got that, too. Oh, and remember that guy Jimi Hendrix and his slick wah-wah pedal sound? Yup, Ed can do that.
Ed hit several sounds that are simply indescribable, except to say that they alternately cleared my sinuses and forced my eyes to roll back in their sockets. Scary, you say? Most definitely, but the pedal sounds, through their sonic vibrations, did manage to negate Pam's headache!
We were so impressed that, after several beers, we decided to actually change the name of the band to EdPedal.
But five minutes later we reverted back to The Motor Primitives.
And then we went to the Harmony Bar for more beers...
