THE GACC ROCK 'N' ROLL SPOOKTACULAR

We're pleased to announce the second annual Halloween Rock 'n' Roll Fundraiser for the Goodman Atwood Community Center (GACC). This years show will be held on October 27th at Wonders Pub. Admission is $10 in costume and $15 without costume. All admission fees will go directly to the GACC. The show starts at 8pm and will feature three local bands, one cool cause and scores of ghosts and goblins.
The Sigourney Weavers will burst forth from the belly with songs about alien(ation) and slime. This reclusive, rarely spotted band of freaks feature current and former members of the Motor Primitives, Ka-Boom!Box, Tin Ceiling and the Apologists. That alone, is frightening.
Second up for the evening are the Murder Primitates (formerly known as the Motor Primitives). They will be masquerading as a "serious-minded folk-rock band" so that the Isthmus Weekly might finally publish an accurately description of the band.
The headliners mark their triumphant return to the Madison music scene. The spectacular disco band, VO5, have been resurrected to haunt the house with a danceable rhythm that your feet can't denied.
Come celebrate this ghoulish holiday with us! At the same time you will be supporting the most active Community Centers in town. The Goodman Atwood Community Center is a city-wide model for a plethera of program. They are in the middle of a huge fundraising drive to rehabilitate one of Madison's Eastside gems (the Kupfer Ironworks factory on Waubesa street). Once the remodeling project is compleated, the GACC will have oodles of space to run their community based programs. Learn more about there programs and the remodeling project at their web site: http://www.goodmancenter.org
So get your broom and fly on over to Wonders Pub and get Spooked for all the Right Reasons!
