A Day in the Life

Here's what it's like to be famous rock stars in the studio. Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of the (**rock 'n' roll cliché alert!**) hookers and blow. Recording in cac-o-phonic dubley sound, of course.

(Poor Robin had to sit through all of Sunday, which was the "Day of the Overdubs" with nothing to overdub himself beyond a four minute tambourine track which he finished first thing in the morning. But we were recording in his house; where was he going to go? What was he going to do? Read the sunday New York Times in his kitchen, of course!)
