Greetings Everybody
Hope you're having a wonderful holiday season!
I've just returned from my travels to the home country and took the obligatory pilgrimage to my personal mecca, Herb David Guitar Studio in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

This is the place I used to go when I was first learning to play guitar. Entering this shop, as a kid, I never got any attitude from the folks inside (that's unusual for Ann Arbor - Sam's jeans store being the other exception). I'd browse through the "how to" books and casually wonder over to where all the fancy guitars hung from the walls. No one hovered over me pushing for the next sale even though I always had trouble controlling the drool! Martin acoustics and Fender electrics were always in good supply. I never bought a guitar there. Couldn't afford it (still can't).
But I still buy strings every time I go there!
The following paragraph was pulled from the store's website and is a little something Herb David wrote:
"I awake, I'm heir to the universe, I rise up and like the stars in heaven know not the bounds of my horizons. I feel the roundness of the earth beneath my feet as I travel my daily path. I am first a good animal - wise as an owl, fleet as a gazelle, fearless as a lion, strong and agile as an ape, swimming like a fish - responsible in my actions and caring of others as a blessed good human being should be; though some days I may waddle like a dog. This is a good day and I will stand tall like a giraffe."
